What you’ll do:

As Chief Engineer you’ll be working as part of the Engineering team to provide technical leadership to the Severn Glocon business regarding bespoke valve projects.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

• Be the technical expert to our customers and internal departments for our products, sizing and section.
• Build relationships and trust in customers to deliver technical knowledge and Engineering solutions. 
• Drive New Product Development and extension of Severn's product range.
• Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner for the Engineering team / department.

What you’ll need:

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent. 
• Proficient with CAD packages.
• Ability to read, analyse and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations. 
• Knowledge of industry design and compliance standards is advantageous.
